The PrimaLuceLab ESATTO 2″ Low-Profile (LP) focuser paired with the ARCO 2″ rotator offers a sophisticated, integrated solution for astrophotographers who want motorized control of both focus and camera rotation — all in a compact, space-efficient form. This combo is especially valuable in setups with tight back-focus (like SCTs / EdgeHD), while still delivering high precision and stability.

1. Compact Low Profile Focuser

• The ESATTO 2″ LP has a super-slim body thickness of just 32 mm, allowing installation even in tight spaces without interfering with mirror-lock knobs or other mechanisms.

• Provides a large 50.9 mm clear aperture, making it compatible with heavy imaging gear (filter wheels, large cameras) without significant vignetting. 

• Capable of carrying up to 5 kg of payload, thanks to a Crayford-style design with 18 ball bearings (inherited from the standard ESATTO). 

• Offers 10 mm of travel with ultra-fine resolution (≈ 0.03 microns per step) for exquisitely precise focusing. 

2. Integrated Connectivity & Control

• Equipped with a USB-C port, allowing reliable, high-speed connection to a Windows PC, EAGLE controller, or other compatible hardware. 

• Wi-Fi built in — lets you control focus remotely via the PrimaLuceLab “Virtual HandPad” app on your smartphone or tablet. 

• Temperature-probe port included, enabling real-time ambient readings for active focus compensation. 

• Status LEDs are dimmable or can be turned off, minimizing stray light during imaging. 

3. High-Precision Rotator (ARCO 2″)

• The ARCO 2″ rotator (included in this bundle) connects directly to the ESATTO LP via a dedicated port — no separate USB or 12 V power cable needed. 

• Offers 1 arc-second resolution per step, allowing very fine control for framing or field de-rotation. 

• Ultra-thin design: just 20 mm thick, keeping the overall optical train compact. 

• 50.9 mm clear aperture, matching the focuser’s drawtube so as not to restrict the light path. 

• Robust, full-aluminum housing supports heavy cameras and accessories without flexure. 

• Supports ASCOM drivers and integrates with PrimaLuceLab’s PLAY software, enabling synchronized focusing and rotation control. 

4. Minimal Train Length

• When the ESATTO 2″ LP and ARCO 2″ are connected, the total thickness is only 54.2 mm, making this one of the most compact motorized focuser + rotator systems available. 

• Because of its low profile, it frees up enough back focus to accommodate reducers or additional imaging gear.
