Baader 5" Guidescope Rings for 60 mm - 110 mm OD Scopes

Baader's 5" or 6.5" heavy duty adjustable guidescope rings provide an extremely solid mounting for auxiliary and guide telescopes. They include several unique and useful features which distinguish them from commonly available guidescope rings.

• Multiple flats and mounting holes are machined around the periphery, which permits these rings to be coupled to each other. This unique feature allows you to interconnect multiple auxiliary telescopes in a number of configurations.

• The construction of the Baader GR5 Rings make them ideally suited for guidescopes and large or heavy auxiliary telescopes. In order to minimize flexure they are machined of extra-heavy aluminum and utilize oversized stainless clamp screws. The aluminum has a wall thickness of 3/8" and the width of the rings is 1.1" They are very beefy and will hold your equipment securely for many years to come.

• The unique design of the adjustable clamp screws incorporates large diameter non-marring nylon tips, which are mounted on machined brass bearings. This allows the tip to rotate, preventing any damage to the finish of your telescope.

• These rings are 5" in diameter, and are suited for telescopes with tube diameters of 60mm to 110mm. A larger 6.5" set of rings is also available for larger telescopes.
