Sometimes your eyepiece barrel needs a little extra length to achieve perfect focus. This machined extension, or nosepiece, is 18 mm long (0.7") and screws onto the filter threads found on most eyepieces. Both ends of the Baader DT-4 extension sleeve are threaded in this manner so that you will still be able to attach filters should you so desire.
