To further enhance the imaging performance of the ASI585 series and provide astrophotographers with an even better observing experience, ZWO’s R&D team has conducted extensive testing and precise optimizations. The HCG gain of the ASI585 series cameras has been adjusted to 200, allowing the cameras to maintain a wider dynamic range in HCG mode, reaching up to 12 stops.
This upgrade applies to five models: ASI585MM/MC, ASI585MM/MC Pro, and ASI585MC Air. After updating, you will need to re-shoot calibration frames to ensure proper stacking in post-processing.

USB 2.0 HUB and USB 3.0 Port
The USB 2.0 hub can connect various USB devices such as EFW, guide cameras, and EAF. The USB 3.0 port provides 5Gb bandwidth, allowing the ASI585MM Pro to run at 47fps at 8.29MP full resolution (10bit, high-speed mode).
USB 3.0 & 512 MB DDR3 Memory
The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 transmission interface and a built-in 512MB DDR3 cache, ensuring stable data transmission. It helps avoid frame dropping and reduces the glow effect during long exposures.
