The Sony IMX585 Sensor

Featuring a Sony IMX585 backlit sensor, it boasts 8.29 megapixels for producing stunning images. The generous full well capacity of 47Ke ensures ample signal collection for detailed imaging, while the integrated cooling technology reduces the temperature to 35 degrees below ambient, resulting in cleaner and less noisy images.

To enhance workflow efficiency, a memory buffer is integrated into the camera to accelerate transfer times, and it comes equipped with a reliable USB 3.0 interface for optimal data collection.

The ASI585MC Pro utilizes a high-quality sensor and offers a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. With its impressive megapixel count and compact sensor size, it excels at capturing fine details across various subjects. Electronics

The ASI585MC Pro has been meticulously designed with advanced features to enhance your astrophotography experience. Its Sony sensor incorporates a backlit design, positioning wires and transistors behind the sensor rather than in front, a departure from the conventional setup found in other CMOS cameras. This arrangement minimizes obstructions, enabling more photons to reach the sensor and be efficiently converted into signal, resulting in higher Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) values and superior image quality.

Furthermore, the integrated Thermo-Electric Cooling (TEC) system cools the camera to temperatures as low as 35 degrees below ambient, effectively reducing heat noise and yielding sharper, cleaner images. To expedite image transfer and preserve captured frames, the ASI585MC Pro is equipped with an internal 512MB DDR3 memory cache. This addition ensures swift and secure image transfer rates, even when operating at the maximum frame rate of 47FPS.
