This eyepiece was one of the last produced by TMB as part of their very limited "Stellar" series, which had only one short production run as a result of coating defects with a portion of the product.
This eyepiece has been tested and shows no visible signs of any defects.
Regardless, this is a great eyepiece with a focal length perfect for wider views, and a terrific collapsible rubber eye-guard to match.
