When it comes to unmagnified finders, the Telrad Reflex Sight Finder has cemented itself as one of the gold standards. Clear reticle, mounting system that can attach to any scope with room on the tube for the peel-and-stick base, and a simple, yet effective, design. With this version of the Telrad, switch between a pulse-able night-sight preserving red or high contrast green to quickly find your reticle and adapt it to your needs!
The Telrad Reflex Sight Finder w/ Red/ Green Illuminator and Pulse Button builds popular upgrades of the classic reflex finder into one device. It starts with the Telrad base, which projects a holographic-style reticle onto the finder window, for a clear picture of the sky overlaid with the dimmable bulls-eye. This reticle features 0.5°, 2°, and 5° rings, which you can utilize to aid in star hopping and final alignment. With just a straight view through the window into the sky above, you don't have worry about translating the direction you want to move your reticle into reverse movement, like is the case on some basic magnified optics. Installation is simple, just remove the adhesive pad backing on the two included adhesive strips, line up the base in-line with the direction of the optics, and stick it down. The Telrad slots into this base, and can be removed when not needed, leaving just the low-profile base pad. The reticle can be switched from red to green, allowing you to choose between night-sight preservation or quick reticle identification as needed. To help the reticle standout at dimmer settings, this version also includes Telrad's pulse upgrade, which dims and brightens the reticle to help your eye pick up a fainter bulls-eye. This is actuated by a simple button, which comes with a long 23" cable and adhesive pad that allows you to install this pulse button in an ergonomic spot for your particular setup. The Telrad is powered by two AAA batteries (not included), which makes recovering from a dead finder generally more cost effective and less fiddly than the coin cells used in common unmagnified red dot finders.
