Workshops are held exclusively online via zoom on Saturday afternoon.

Each workshop begins at 5pm and runs approximately one hour in length.

This is the first part of a series of three introductory workshops that will allow you to get a running start in understanding all of the intricate details on how to get the most satisfaction out of this hobby.

 

This particular session will deal with the following topics:

1. Basic assembly and setup of your telescope

2. Using the finderscope and understanding it's basic alignment procedure

3. Dealing with dew

4. An introduction to how eyepieces work.

5. A discussion of filters and how they can greatly enhance your viewing

6. Imaging with your phone through the telescope
