This spacing ring was introduced with the FCT-65D telescope. It fits in between the draw tube and the 1.04x Multi-flattener, it works to drive the drawtube 30mm into the focuser to provide for a stiffer focuser to reduce the possibility of tilt. 3 items are necessary to use the Multi-flattener on the FCT-65D: this extension tube, (TKA18006) the 1.04x multi-flattener (TKA00282) and the 65d specific spacing ring (TKA11203).
