Takahashi FS-60 Dew Shield Extension (White)

This dew shield extension is meant for use with the Takahashi FS-60CB and FS-60Q. Because the extension hood weighs about 420g, it not only prevents stray light but also functions as a counterweight to offset the weight of diagonals, eyepieces, an imaging equipment. Because the FS-60CB is a short-focus telescope with a small aperture, the camera side can become heavy making the scope difficult to balance on smaller mounts. This problem can be greatly reduced by attaching the extension hood.
