The Nikon 300mm f/4.5 NIKKOR-H is a classic manual-focus telephoto lens offering substantial reach in a relatively straightforward and durable design. With its 300mm focal length and f/4.5 maximum aperture, this lens is well suited for wildlife, sports, nature, outdoor photography, and distant subjects. This Ai version provides compatibility with a broad range of Nikon cameras while retaining the hands-on focusing and aperture control that make classic Nikkor lenses popular among film photographers and vintage lens enthusiasts.

Function: The 300mm focal length provides a narrow field of view that allows photographers to isolate distant subjects and bring them closer without physically approaching them. The manual-focus design gives the photographer direct control over focus, while the automatic diaphragm allows the lens to remain wide open for focusing before stopping down to the selected aperture when the photograph is taken.
