The Meade #777 Off-Axis Guider is a precision astrophotography accessory designed to improve tracking accuracy during long-exposure imaging. This pre-owned unit is in great condition, showing only minor cosmetic wear from previous use that does not affect performance. It provides a reliable way to guide your mount using the same optical path as your main imaging camera, eliminating differential flexure and improving image sharpness.
The guider attaches between your Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and camera, diverting a small portion of the light to a guiding eyepiece while the main image continues on to the camera sensor.
