What You'll See

Point this telescope at the Sun and you are looking at the chromosphere — the dynamic layer where solar activity plays out in real time. Prominences arc off the limb in vivid detail, some towering tens of thousands of miles above the surface. Filaments, the dark sinuous channels of suspended plasma, thread across the disk.
