Not only does this CEM70 EC version center-balance mount come with a high resolution encoder on the RA axis with real time PEC, this mount is NUC ready! This equatorial mount can handle up to a 70 lb. payload, and is still portable enough, just 30 lbs. without counterweights, to take to dark-sky observing sites or set up in your back yard. An optional LiteRoc tripod is available for the iOptron CEM70EC, or you can mount it on the pier of your choice. A tripod and pier are not included. The mount itself comes in a hard case to provide safe storage at your home or on the road.

The iOptron CEM70EC comes with the Go2Nova 8407+ hand controller that sports a HUGE database of over 200,000 objects! It also comes with an internal iPolar electronic polar scope for super easy polar alignment and an advanced cable management system to keep everything tidy without hang-ups. There are two DC12V (3A) ports, three USB2.0 ports, one DC in and one DC out, & one iPort.

iOptron took great care to make sure the CEM70EC has very precise pointing and tracking. It comes with 151 mm RA and Dec worm wheels with 248 teeth each, a 21.2 mm worm, and a 1.8-degree stepper motor with 128 micro-step capacity. The real time PEC feature of this EC mount makes it an incredible option for astrophotographers.
