DESCRIPTION:
The Criterion DynaMAX 8 is a classic 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope designed for both planetary and deep-sky observing. This complete setup includes the original Criterion wedge and tripod, protective cases, and an ASP 18mm eyepiece, making it a great choice for collectors and enthusiasts interested in vintage American-made astronomical equipment.

CONDITION:
This pre-owned telescope has been meticulously cleaned and tested. The front corrector is devoid of scratches and blemisher. The primary mirror does have some minor marks on it, but nothing that will impact your view in any meaningful way. The body of the scope and mount do have a few chips in the paint, but this of course does not affect the function of the scope whatsoever. There appears to be some marks on the inside of the glass in the finderscope. Please see the pictures for reference. The tracking motor is functioning as normal.
