Improve your field of view when imaging with Daystar Filters' 0.5x Imaging Focal Reducer. When your camera is directly connected to the reducer, the focal length is reduced by half (0.5x), and with the addition of the included 20mm extension tube the reduction factor becomes 0.33x. The reducer is built for 2" drawtubes with a clear aperture of 36mm, and has standard M42x0.75 T-threads to accept camera-specific T-rings to mount your imaging system or DSLR. To improve the contrast and reduce internal light scattering, the extension tube is engineered with internal baffles.
