This item replaces Celestron item # 51562-29 which has been discontinued and also the 

Celestron Declination Motor Cable for Advanced VX and CG-5 GT Mounts # 51702-1 which is also discontinued.

This multi-use straight cable will solve a number of issues for replacing cables that are no longer available from Celestron. This is a 6 pin connecting cable that will:

1. Extend your Celestron handbox cable by 6 feet.

2. This 6 pin cable will act as a replacement dec cable for the older model Advanbced VX and CG-5 GT Mounts.

3. It is guaranteed to work with Celestron computerized mounts that utilize NexStar
hand controllers. It will also work with the CGEM mounts.

3. The cable is made only for six pin connectors and will
also work with Celestron's Sky Portal Wifi adapter.

 Beware of the grey flat type telephone cables that have smaller conductors and
may cause unreliable operation of the handbox.
