Coatings and Prisms

With TrailSeeker ED binoculars, all air-to-glass surfaces contain multiple layers of anti-reflectivity coatings to allow the greatest amount of light possible to be transmitted through the glass to your eye. This certifies these binoculars as “fully multi-coated.”

The interior TrailSeeker ED binocular prism consists of high quality phase-coated and dielectric-coated BaK-4 glass. This allows more light to be reflected off the prism and diverted through to your eye.
