The Askar FRA300 Pro is a compact, fast Petzval astrograph designed for wide-field astrophotography. With a 60mm aperture, 300mm focal length, and fast f/5 focal ratio, it provides a wide field of view while maintaining excellent star quality across the image.

The FRA300 Pro uses a five-element, fully air-spaced Petzval APO optical design incorporating one ED glass element. Its 44mm image circle provides full-frame coverage, making it well suited for modern full-frame astrophotography cameras.

The native Petzval design incorporates field flattening directly into the optical system, eliminating the need for a separate field flattener. The optical system is also designed to provide excellent control of peripheral light falloff across the full-frame image circle.

The FRA300 Pro features a 2.5" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser with coarse and fine adjustment controls. A built-in 360° rotator allows the camera to be rotated for convenient framing without changing the telescope's optical alignment.

The rear of the telescope provides M42, M48, and M54 connections, with the M48 adapter incorporating a built-in 2" filter thread. A multifunctional handle and 300mm Vixen-style dovetail plate are included for mounting the telescope and accessories.
