The Askar 71F is a compact, lightweight quadruplet APO astrograph designed for both astrophotography and visual observation. Its 71mm aperture and 490mm focal length produce a native f/6.9 focal ratio, while the air-spaced quadruplet optical design incorporates one ED element for improved chromatic aberration correction.
The 71F features a self-flattened optical design with a 44mm image circle, making it suitable for full-frame imaging without requiring a separate field flattener or complicated backfocus calculations. Once the appropriate imaging adapters are installed, the telescope can be used directly after achieving focus.
