The Askar 60F is a compact, portable astrograph designed for both astrophotography and visual observation. Its 60mm aperture and 408mm focal length produce a native f/6.8 focal ratio, while the quadruplet air-spaced APO optical system incorporates one ED element for improved chromatic aberration correction.
The 60F features a built-in field-flattening system and supports a 44mm image circle, allowing full-frame cameras to be used without the need for a separate field flattener or complicated backfocus calculations.
A retractable dew shield keeps the telescope compact for transport, while the 2.4" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser provides 50mm of travel and 1:10 fine adjustment. A 360° rotator and multiple finder-base locations provide additional flexibility for imaging setups.
