The Askar 203APO is a large-aperture 8-inch APO refractor designed for high-resolution astrophotography and visual astronomy. With a 203mm aperture and 1421mm focal length, this f/7 triplet APO provides substantial light-gathering power, high resolution, and strong contrast. The objective uses an air-spaced triplet design with one ED glass element for improved chromatic aberration correction.
The 203APO combines its large aperture with a retractable dew shield and retractable rear lens tube to make the telescope more manageable for transport and to provide additional flexibility for visual and imaging configurations.
