The rear glass element has a tiny chip on the edge of the glass, and there are several scratches on the metal, specifically towards the rear end.
This is a beautiful antique brass eyepiece that was compared to a 32mm eyepiece, giving it an approximation of around 40mm. It's a solid, heavy, durable piece of metal that can be unscrewed into 2 pieces, giving access to both optical elements.
