The ED80SF refractor telescope features high-grade glass and quality components. Multi-coated optics for crisp clear views. Coupled with a medium f/7.5 focal ratio, the ED 80SF telescope delivers a sharp, color-free image of high contrast. At only 22.4", this is Vixen's ultimate grab and go Apo travel scope.
The ED80Sf features multicoated Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) lenses to produce an apochromatic optical system that corrects for, and greatly reduces, chromatic and spherical aberrations. This yields views with true color transmission and contrast that are free from distortion across the entire field of view. The rack-and-pinion focuser has an eyepiece holder straight-through from the optical system, and another set 90° to the first. A 9x50 finderscope mounts on the telescope to get you on-target faster than using an eyepiece.
