The Tele Vue TV-76 APO Refractor Telescope delivers superb apochromatic performance and natural color rendition of both stellar and planetary objects. Featuring a Nagler-designed, fully multi-coated 76mm (3") doublet objective with low-dispersion glass, it virtually eliminates chromatic aberration for crisp, high-contrast views.
Ideal for wide-field observing, the TV-76 reveals large showpiece objects that smaller field-of-view telescopes can’t capture. Its 2" Everbrite diagonal and expansive 5.5° rich-field make it perfect for immersive stargazing.
The optical tube includes a high-precision 2" Focusmate dual-speed (10:1) rack-and-pinion focuser with a non-marring brass compression ring, securely holding accessories in place. A retractable lens shade reduces glare during daytime use and minimizes dew formation at night. The metal screw-on dust cap protects the optics during transport or storage.
Compact and lightweight, the TV-76 pairs easily with lighter-duty tripods for grab-and-go convenience. A padded shoulder bag is included to protect the telescope and store up to six eyepieces (sold separately) during travel or storage.
