AZ Mount Pro Head

The AZ Mount Pro Head is the mount-head component of the iOptron “AZ Mount Pro” series, designed for advanced visual observing, outreach use or travel rigs. It offers full computerized Go-To and tracking capabilities in a “head only” format (tripod or pier sold separately in many cases). It is built for simplicity in setup, strong payload capacity for its size, and modern connectivity features.

• “Level and Go” alignment — you simply level the head using its built-in bubble level, power it on, and the internal 32-channel GPS receiver plus angle/position sensors instantly determine location and orientation.

• Payload capacity: rated 33 lbs (≈15 kg) for the primary telescope, plus an optional 10 lbs (≈4.5 kg) secondary load capability.

• Mount head weight: approximately 13 lbs (≈6 kg) including battery and counterweight shaft, making it quite portable for its class.
