1¼" Powermates™ (2.5x & 5x):

• Compact & Efficient – These models extend less than 3" from your focuser, with the 5x version accepting 1¼" threaded filters.

• Parfocal Design – Achieve nearly identical focus across all 1¼" diagonals and prisms, making these models ideal for 1¼" diagonals and refractors like the Tele Vue-60.

• Ideal for Imaging – The 5x Powermate™ is perfect for long-focus CCD and film photography, providing a magnification of 7.7x. It's a fantastic, high-performance alternative to traditional eyepiece projection and also helps slow down your scope for Hydrogen-Alpha solar observing.

2" Powermates™ (2x & 4x):

• Nearly Parfocal – These models are nearly parfocal in 2" diagonals and deliver outstanding performance with both 1¼" and 2" eyepieces (yes, including the 31mm Nagler Type 5!).

Special Considerations for Dobsonian & Newtonian Telescopes:

• When using Tele Vue's Paracorr coma corrector, insert the 2.5x or 5x Powermate™ into the Paracorr’s 1¼" adapter (between the Paracorr and the eyepiece). For 2x and 4x 2" Powermates™, insert the Powermate™ into the focuser and the Paracorr into the Powermate™.
