Really great Nikon D3100 DSLR camera with TWO lenses! The camera body is in great shape with no visible marks anywhere on it, the mirror is free of any marks, scratches, haze on it, the shutter fires smoothly at all speeds with no sticking. Both lenses are in great condition, the front and rear glass elements are clean with no scratches, haze, marks or fungus built up, the autofocus motors work nicely and the focusing ring moves smoothly in manual focusing modes.

The Nikon D3100, although it's an older model, still offers several advantages for users, especially those who are new to digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) photography. Keep in mind that camera preferences can be subjective, and newer models may have additional features.

  1. Image Quality: The D3100 features a 14.2-megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor, which can deliver high-resolution images with good color reproduction.

  2. Guide Mode: This camera is equipped with a guide mode that assists beginners in learning the basics of photography. It provides step-by-step guidance on camera settings for various shooting scenarios.

  3. Full HD Video Recording: The D3100 supports full HD (1080p) video recording, allowing users to capture high-quality videos. This feature is beneficial for those who want to explore both photography and videography.

  4. Compact and Lightweight: Compared to some other DSLRs, the D3100 is relatively compact and lightweight, making it a good choice for those who prioritize portability.

  5. Nikon F-Mount Compatibility: The D3100 is compatible with a wide range of Nikon F-mount lenses, providing users with a variety of options to expand their photography capabilities.

  6. Decent Autofocus System: While not the most advanced autofocus system, the D3100's 11-point autofocus system is generally reliable for basic photography needs.

  7. Affordability: As an older model, the D3100 may be more affordable than newer DSLRs, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious photographers who still want a capable camera.

  8. Good Battery Life: The D3100 generally has decent battery life, allowing users to shoot for a reasonable amount of time between charges.

While the D3100 has its advantages, it's essential to consider your specific needs and budget. Technology evolves, and newer models may offer additional features and improvements. If possible, it's a good idea to compare the D3100 to more recent DSLRs to determine which one best suits your requirements.
