This Tripod is in excellent condition, it is fully functional and as reliable as it ever was. The entire model has been painted black however, and though this has no functional effect, this new coloring, and the lack of a Linhof Badge are definite cosmetic defects.
in terms of function, this tripod is unmatched, with beautiful construction, this is one of the most stable and reliable tripods you can buy. It comes with super easy to use tightening levers on every moveable access, making any adjustments fast and smooth.
Though it may not have its original color, this black coating does make it more flexible in more shooting conditions, such as in dark environments and facing reflections.
