Made of highly impact-resistant ABS plastic, the case has a custom-cut foam insert that holds and protects the OTA, so the mount, hand controller, and finderscope will need to be removed for a proper fit—but it does have cut-in compartments for eyepieces and accessories. To give you maximum access to the interior, the lid comes off completely and is held in place with four latches, two of which are lockable with the included keys. Two large steel-reinforced handles make it easy to pick up, but if you find it too heavy, just grab one handle and tow it behind you on the upgraded 10" pneumatic wheels for improved mobility over rough and uneven ground.
