The JMI Telescope Carrying Case is made of light and durable ABS plastic with a die-cut foam lining and compartments for the optical tube, eyepieces, and accessories. It is designed to carry most 9.25" and 11" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube assemblies (OTAs), but 11" OTAs with forks that are more than 21.5" wide WILL NOT FIT, so the manufacturer strongly recommends measuring your OTA before ordering the case. It has a removable cover with no hinges; instead it has four latches, two of which are lockable. Both the finder scope and hand controller must be detached and inserted into the included protective pouches and placed inside the case. It can be carried using three steel-reinforced handles or pulled using the attached 10" pneumatic wheels.
