Weighing around 12 pounds, this small mount has an impressive payload capacity of 43 pounds. Best of all, no counterweight or shaft is needed.

The HAE43EC features strain wave gear technology for the movement along the declination (DEC) axis. This high performance allows for an excellent weight-to-payload efficiency. With a rugged, all metal, CNC machined body, the HAE43EC also features an electronic friction break and power-down memory. This allows the mount to stop and resume a GoTo slew or to continue tracking even after an abrupt power loss, with no need to realign and begin from the beginning.

Additionally, the HAE43EC features a high-precision RA axis encoder that delivers extraordinary tracking accuracy.

The HAE43EC mount comes with several great features, including a Go2Nova hand controller, iPolar polar scope, a dual Losmandy/Vixen style saddle, and carrying case.

Controlling the mount is simple and convenient with the included Go2Nova 8409 hand controller. The mount can be directly controlled through the hand controller, accessing its database of ~212,000 objects. Utilizing the USB port or integrated wi-fi adapter in the hand controller, the mount can also be controlled via PC.

Control your HAE43EC mount with the Go2Nova 8409 hand controller. Featuring a ~212,000 object database and nine control speeds, this controller can connect to a PC via USB for computer control and firmware updates. An embedded wi-fi adapter also allows for wireless control. The display of the controller is a 4-line, 21-character backlit LCD.

With the iPolar e-Polarscope from iOptron, accurate polar alignment has never been so simple! All you have to do is place the plus symbol over the graphical representation of the celestial pole's location. When these two symbols are aligned they represent a precise polar alignment, allowing you to get the best performance possible from your mount.

A dual Losmandy/Vixen-style (D/V) saddle allows for a wide range of connectivity options.
