   This 80 degree eyepiece is an  excellent value. As it comes out of the box it is a 20mm 80 degree field of view eyepiece. remove the bottom black segment and you have a 30mm 80 degree field eyepiece. The black segment is actually a 1.5x barlow that can be screwed onto the back end of ANY 2 inch eyepiece. You could even screw it into a 2 Inch diagonal to allow its use with any 2 inch or 1.25 inch eyepiece.
