This second generation space-age material is a durable, heavy weight 18 oz. opaque vinyl, laminated with Aluminized Mylar. Formulated with extra UV protector to enhance reflectivity and prolong the useful life of the reflective surfaces.
 
Not only is it completely waterproof and opaque to light, it has an Insulation "R" value of .770.

All seams are permanently sealed, no holes, and is maintenance free.
