The SkyFinder plain bracket mounts directly on a tube or flat surface with double-stick foam tape or screws. It is supplied with foam tape. The bracket's "feet" can be bent to closely fit a tube or flat surface, so let me know the tube diameter when ordering, and I'll adjust it to fit. A particular adjustment will fit a reasonable range of tube diameters, though. The SkyFinder bracket for Telrad bases drops right in and is clamped with the two screws in the base. it allows for easy change of finders to suit observing conditions. The SkyFinder bracket for QuickFinder bases attaches to the base in the same way as a QuickFinder. The bracket front bottom edge is hooked into the wide slot in the base and the bracket pivoted back so that the back edge hooks into the narrow slot. The hooked arms on the bracket should be squeezed together slightly as the back arm enters the base. The Skyfinder bracket for red dot finder bases fits the 1/2" wide male dovetail bases of many red dot finders. It slides on the dovetail and is locked with a knurled brass thumbscrew. The SkyFinder bracket for SCTs mounts to the two threaded holes on the cylindrical edge if the back casting with two supplied screws. As with the plain bracket, state the SCT diameter so that I can provide a close fit. The distance between the two threaded holes in the back casting varies with different SCTs, so let me know that too when ordering. The SkyFinder bracket for TeleVue tube rings and Astro-Physics finder bases mounts with two socket head hex screws. The screws and a hex wrench are provided.
